Further, it is based on an operational definition of what constitutes patient satisfaction and a framework which makes sense of the complex set of factors associated with the concept.
Our experience has shown that The SWAM Scale® as a tool is sensitive to the health-related issues that are most important to patients with a mental illness, and it is thus capable of capturing even small variations in health status.
